Courses and teaching
In early 2025 I experienced some ill-health and took the very reluctant decision to retire from regular teaching.
I may offer some courses next year but there will be no further courses in 2025.

I just called West Dean to clarify the situation. They do not release all courses for booking at once. Summer School can now be booked and also short courses up to the end of June. My course in July will be available for booking after Christmas: if you want to check the exact date may I suggest you call them to check? Very best Christmas and season’s greetings!

Hi Isabella,
I just read about your class in West Dean in June and sadly I can not make this because of work. Will you be offering a similar class in West Dean in the Autumn? If so, I would be very interested. I did a class with Carole Waller a few months ago that I loved and would like to learn more. Thank you!

Thanks for contacting me, Trisha. I am not running the same course at West Dean again until next year. The dates are currently scheduled for 30th March – 2nd April. Best wishes

Thank you for your good wishes. Regrettably, I don’t think I will be teaching again. I don’t have the space to teach at home and one of the consequences of retiring from teaching is that I had to let my insurance go, and also run down some of my supplies.
